Radiesse

What is it and what does it do?

  •  Radiesse is an injectable cosmetic treatment made primarily of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA). It is used to restore volume, improve facial contours, and stimulate your skin’s natural collagen production.

 What does Radiesse do?

  • Adds immediate volume and structure to areas such as the cheeks, jawline, chin, and lower face.
  • Stimulates collagen and elastin production, so the treated area can gradually look firmer and more youthful.
  • Can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity.
  • It can also be diluted and injected more superficially for certain skin-quality concerns, often referred to as a "biostimulator" treatment.

❀ Number of Sessions Required: 1 to 2

❀ Spacing Between Sessions: 3 months apart and then yearly maintenance

❀ Length of Each Session: 30 to 60 minutes

Who is it for?

Anyone looking to:

  • Address volume loss, facial contouring, wrinkles, or declining skin firmness and who prefer an injectable treatment rather than surgery.

Anyone who has:

  • Loss of facial volume with aging
  • Less-defined cheeks, chin, or jawline
  • Moderate facial wrinkles or folds
  • Reduced skin firmness or elasticity
  • A desire to stimulate collagen rather than simply add volume

Patients require 2 treatments for noticeable results. Follow up treatment and maintenance is recommended every  9 to 12 months.
